ALH. Shehu Musa Gabam urged to Contest for Governor in The Forthcoming General Elections.
The call was made by a group known as 20 CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS In Collaboration with SMG Reformation Project Network signed by; Comr. Daure David Yankoli, President BSYI Speaking on behalf of the groups, made the OPEN LETTER available to media in Bauchi 29th October, 2018.
The call was said to be made on behalf of the 1 million franchised Youths,further urging ALH. GABAM to listen to the call and run for the office as they are willing to massively mobilize support for him. Consultations and meetings were held by the Youths in questions before urging the SDP to let Alh. Gabam pick the form and answer the call,threatening to trek from Bauchi to Abuja if their plight is not heard and responded to within a 7 days Ultimatum.

The statement says, “After numerous deliberation and consultations by the group as a result of the just concluded primary elections. ALH. SHEHU MUSA GABAM Remains a credible alternative with requisite qualities , experience and capability to resuscitate Bauchi’s dying nature, insecurity, lack of good governance and unity in the state. ALH. SHEHU MUSA GABAM is an illustrious son of Bauchi State. So, if we demand his services, they have no option than to let him take the responsibility his people call upon him which was given to a non-indigene (we all experienced the effect).
It further states “It is time for the People of Bauchi to unite and support a practical and realistic man, a liberal man, a man with a milk of human kindness flowing in his veins, a man that has the interest of people at heart, a person who can provide security, protect lives and property of the citizens, enhance unity, and provide opportunities for all”
The group also said, They know Gabam to be a good listener and also a leader who respect his people wishes, we know he'll listened to our call and plight.. We know he'll never let us down by God grace.. The people hold him with higher esteem compare to others,because he's kind and considerate always. We want to assure all Representatives gathered Here that,Our call will never be in vain, and as far as victory is concern Alh Shehu Musa Gabam always deliver, it's on record.We're calling on him never to abandoned us at a time of political uncertainty and mirage in the state,We're pleading that he join the Rescue Mission Team cos he has all the Logic and knowledge of the political terrain in the entire state.."We know Gabam as a true Leader who'll sacrifice his all for this movement,therefore we're looking forward to his favorable response soonest..

Bauchi state Governor,Barr M.A. Abubakar is said to not be in good terms with most politicians in the state due to his reportedly rigorous and self reliant leadership, a leadership that doesn't work with the whole arm of government amicably.
Other offenses he is being accused of include non payment of pension, gratuity,Bad Education system, unemployment, abandoned projects with direct effect on the electorate and lack of respect for traditional System of government.
Also,Funds are being spent but no tangible result is being seen by the electorate.
Gov. M.A has also been in tussle with the number four citizen of the country,Hon. Yakubu Dogara. He is presently not among the favourite unless a repeat of APC Psuedo primaries will reoccur and be declared winner overnight.

Gov MA's administration can be compared to that of one (Joseph Stalin one Russian Dictator) god father to Hitler. Were he oppressed the masses,with no option than to be loyal.
Joseph Stalin , is said to enter a meeting with a chicken in his hand removing its feathers bit by bit,after then throw pieces of grains to the chicken which highlights the situation at Bauchi for the past 3 years. APC CRISIS IN BAUCHI
The Governor is presently in Lagos since heard of Aggrieved APC members meeting with PMB. But the question is, whose interest are they after? To us this is not about Bauchi State but about their interest.
We are not interested in APC reconciliation now,where were they when Gov MA mercilessly crippled the state? Now that he fought them personally they know the way to villa.

Sen; Bala Muhammed was elected Senator for Bauchi South in April 2007 for the All Nigeria People's Party.He reportedly fell out with Yuguda after the state Governor married President Umaru Yar'Adua's daughter and decamped to the People's Democratic Party (PDP). In March 2010 he accused Yuguda of being behind a move by people in his constituency to recall him from the Senate.He was the first to call for declaring President Umaru Yar'Adua incapacitated and making Vice-President Goodluck Jonathan the acting President. He has a pending case with EFCC; Alot dont see him as a good replacement.

Captain Bala is a Pilot from Katagum Zone, which makes it politically difficult for him to emerge victorious, He is a popular fanatic of President Muhammadu Buhari and he want to relay on that fame to victory apart from that he has nothing on table to offer. He has been a captain for so long but hasn't really done anything impactful in Bauchi to warrant him office of the Executive Governor Bauchi State.

The PRP candidate will not be the favourite because his party isn't structured across the state and he is widely refer to as a White man by his political caucus. He is a credible candidate but with the Katagum people pushing for endorsement of Capt Bala Jibrin,he's systematically out of race!
