Killer Record Music 's Doncee drops his first single after long Hiatus 'titled ‘ Herdsmen’ - a song which speaks about the current situation of things in the country, from the point of view of the youths who are fed up of the constant promises made and broken by our leaders and have expressed this on social media at different points in time.
On this piece, the producers- Kes, Malo Boi and Doncee work to deliver the message softly.
Herdsmen was inspired by the brutal killings that were common place in Numan,Benue, southern Kaduna and the izi of Ebonyi and yala of Cross river state crisis. He explained that the horrors he witnessed and experienced cannot even be expressed in music.
His only consolation lies in the fact that the legacy of the people killed will always remain immortal. The reasons they were targeted and killed are diverse yet what they believed in remains forever.
