In the jungle, the lion is neither the wisest nor the smartest, he is not even the strongest nor the biggest, yet has been crowned “THE KING OF THE JUNGLE”. The lion is the king of the jungle because of his perseverance and heroism. He has shown to even the wisest and the strongest animals that wisdom and strength are only but two among the many qualities required of a leader. His unbeatable panache and conquest had survived him the battle in his father`s pride and had made him a father in another pride. I would love to likened Hon. Yakubu Dogara and a daring lion at his prime. The urge and endurance to hunt, the strength and agility to run with sincerity and the prowess to conquer has made Hon. Yakubu Dogara a daring lion in the jungle.

The ascension of Hon. Yakubu Dogara to the peak of affairs in this country is the manifestation of divine grace and the reflection of our enthusiastic genealogy. Thus, deserves a sequestered cradling by the entire constituency and the state at large. Hon. Yakubu Dogara is a leader with the political and leadership traits of our very own Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa. He is someone with zero tolerance for religious bigotry and allergy for ethnical sentiment, Dogara has metamorphosed politically, shedding away the clothing of ambiguity and deception of our politicians, he has immune himself against skepticism, he has imprinted indelible handful of achievement in his constituency, our state and all over the nation. He is someone I would call benevolence personified whose amiable charisma has chastised many of our drowning youths nationwide. His selflessness and desire to help people is unparalled, his love for God and his people is his kinetic and drive. If by now, ethnical and religious sentiment and prejudice have a place in us, then, we are doomed beyond redemption and called for this advice “Politics is a reality that exist beyond our calculable sentiment, therefore, we must refuse to be gullible and tell ourselves that politics exist within our own realm of realities”. Why do we refuse to engage ourselves in the electioneering processes of who we want? , Why must we always wait and listen to filthy agenda of others before deciding on who to support? , Why must we always be subjects to political manipulations and inductions? No wonder we had always been at the mercies of political leaders committed serving themselves at our expense. In Hon. Yakubu Dogara, we have a democrat who believes in us, who despite our beholden ideology of ethnicity and religious sentiment have treated us rightly and equally. Hon. Yakubu Dogara has quietly inculcate the prowess of sincerity and heroism into many youths, he has almost single handedly established a formidable pride for all of us. Indeed he is a lion in his prime.
